"But please, please, I beg you..."
She tugged at his scarf once again, still refusing to let go.
"It is for home. Please..."
He turned his head to look down at her as he kept on walking.
"I already told you. There is no postage on that letter. I cannot deliver it without a stamp."
His voice was firm as before, but on the inside he felt like a monster for refusing the letter of a little girl whom he knew would never have the money to get the stamp for her letter home....

Was supposed to be just a little doodle, but I ended up doing a full tone drawing. Which was not the point either, I was going to do the same coloring style as Hiroyuki Asada uses for the covers of the manga, but suddenly I felt like having it in the black and white manga style instead....which it obviously isn't either, he's using near to no toning on his characters, it's almost all black and white. Why do I always fail on purpose?
