Baw buds and otome filter

Sometimes school just get annoying and needs to be vented about.

Also me and Ai figured if we met our favourite actors...we would fall into the depths of the otome filter....complete with sparkles of the kawaii goodness that is the glorious gateway to the flaoting pink backgrounds where all men hold roses and call you princess.

Deer little thing

I have decided to try doing some kind of "one design a day" thing. We'll see how long it lasts me though when my work piles up.
Today's design have been brought to you by the lack of pine trees in England. Because deer and leaf trees makes perfect sense together in my head. I seem to be missing pine trees of some reason, and find myself oddly offended by the lack of them. Anyway, all that brown seem to have triggered an autumn kind of feeling, so there we go.

I don't know if it's a boy or a girl this one.
Initially it was going to be some sort of sheep. Then a goat. Then a gazelle. Then a deer... from there it became some half and half centaur thing, was only going to have two legs, but that just made it look horribly unbalanced and it would fall over so I added two more.
Now it doesn't have to fall on it's face when it walks around. Woohoo.

Some random character that suddenly popped up in my head. He was kinda fun to do with a limited palette. I normally have more than five colors on everything, so it was a nice break.
I'm still not sure what kind of bird he is....
something between some tropical thing and a crow judging from the tail feather thing and the colors.
His eyes are colored as if he might be blind, but I don't think he is. Probably just a defect of some sort.

I need to do more random characters like this.
It's fun.

Hotter than you

Fuego in disguise in Ai's demon world with her two characters Hawk and Senshi. Butting into an argument and saying "Hawk is hotter than you" did not fare well with Senshi of some reason...

"Do you have a spare pencil Hawk?..Senshi knocked mine over the ledge while you were arguing."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HOTTER THAN ME? STOP IGNORING ME HUMAN! I DEMAND AN ANSWER! I LOOK BETTER THAN HIM!"

 

And then off to the local art shop to get a new pencil.

No Senshi. You will always just be cute because you are fluffy...hotness is something only bestowed on higher beings is just one of those things some people have.

I am not sure which one of the boys was my favourite to draw this time. Senshi was a lot of fun to do the expressions for, but I do really prefer to draw Hawk. Trying so hard not to show he enjoys the compliment at the same time as it's shooting his ego to the high heavens. I think he is more fun for me because he's easier to draw, a simpler design where I don't have to remember much and is automatically draw with a good looking face when I doodle him...also I have done doodles of him for much longer than Senshi so he's easier to remember.

art nouveau

Wanted to try to draw something that is not anime for once. Getting a bit bored with it.
Figured I'd try out some art nouveau style, I always liked it, so I looked a bit at Alphonse Mucha's art to try catching the way it's drawn.

Roughly 30 something minute speed doodles, but it was good fun. The 2nd one looks a bit more like a coffee poster though xD
Also had the pc on the table away from my face this time...should do it more often because I could actually see what I was doing.
